What is PayPower?
PayPower is a prepaid card that is the perfect alternative to credit cards and checking accounts. There is no credit check, so anyone is able to get a card upon successful ID verification*. With PayPower you only spend what you have, so there are no overdraft fees or interest charges. Your card can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, including online or over the phone. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW CARD ACCOUNT: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account. What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see a copy of your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
No credit check or existing bank account required
No credit check is required; you simply provide your name, address, date of birth (primary card account holder must be 18 or older) and Social Security number.

PayPower Cards can be used for everyday purchases—such as groceries, paying bills or online. It's safer and more convenient than cash. After you register your card, you can use your PayPower Visa Card to get cash from ATMs worldwide, where you see the Visa Acceptance Mark. Find an ATM near you.
Safer than cash
The funds on your card account are protected from unauthorized use by the Visa Zero Liability policy if your card is lost or stolen. The funds in your card account will be FDIC insured through the card Issuer, provided your card is registered. The Bancorp Bank and MetaBank; Members FDIC. The Visa Zero Liability policy covers U.S.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions. Pay any bill online or over the phone (registration required)
It’s easy to make a single or recurring payment. Pay bills using funds from your card account instead of writing and mailing a physical check, going to a check cashing agent, or using a money order. Bills are paid when you schedule them to be paid. Or use your Visa Prepaid Card account number to pay a bill online or over the phone.
